The following is a notice was sent out with kids for the zoo trip we will be having on TUESDAY 4th JUNE!!!!
24th May 2013
To begin our big idea of
‘Aroha’ the Year 0-1 team has organised a visit to the Hamilton zoo. The children will get the chance to see
animals in their habitats and learn about how they are taken care of.
The trip will be on Tuesday 4th June. Our bus will leave school at 9:30am, and we plan to arrive back at
school at approx. 1:30pm.
If it is raining in the
morning the trip will be postponed to Thursday the 6th of June.
The cost is $9 per child.
Children will need
suitable shoes and clothing, a raincoat (if wet), their morning tea, lunch, and
a drink bottle.
If you are able to be a
parent helper for this trip please indicate on the slip below. All parent helpers need to have been police
vetted, are required to arrange their own transport to the zoo, and will supervise
a group of children. Each class has a limit to the number of parent helpers. We
are unable to take preschoolers on this trip. The cost of the zoo per parent
helper is $5.50.
Regards,
Holly Sattler (Year 0-1
Team Leader)
Jeanette Ward, Chloe
Yates, Mary de France and Taylor Kells.
Please complete the slip and return it to the class teacher by 31st May.
