On Tuesday Room 25 had a surprise visit from the new baby chicks! All 9 of them came!!! It was super exciting and Mrs White told us lots of interesting things about chickens. Did you know that chicken pooh is good for our soil! It helps our gardens grow healthy and strong! And guess what we even got to hold the chicks! But we were super careful because they are still very little. Check out these photos of the surprise visit...

Mentos and Coke...
Today our Student Teachers Miss Clark and Miss Fisher did a language experiment with coke and mentos!!!! Now what do you think happens when mentos is mixed with coke ???? These photos will explain just what happened…
Visiting the new baby chicks...
This week room 25 visited the new baby chicks. These chicks hatched in room 11 at our very own Hukanui School. Room 25 were super super excited. Just last Thursday we visited room 11 to see the eggs in an incubator and this week we have lots of new baby chicks!!! Check out these photos from our visit!!!

So much happening at Hukanui...
Wow!!! What a crazy and exciting week at Hukanui School! So much happened. First we had Ronald McDonald come visit and talk about road safety, which was AWESOME. Then to finish the week we had the Book Fair, GRANDPARENTS DAY and LIP SYNC FINALS. Check out these awesome pictures from this week...

We had so much fun having the grandparents in the room. We hope they did too...
